[IMPORTANT] 30 minute refresh error.
This is caused by Instagram's recent limits. Certain accounts time-out while refreshing due to a few reasons: 1. The account follows more than 1000 people or has more than 1000 followers, 2. The account has more than 500 posts to scan. 3. We recommend only refreshing once an hour if your account is larger than 1000 followers.
Solutions:
1. Change your password. This will log you out of any other third party apps that may be using up your limits.
2. Only scan your account once an hour.
3. If the issue persists please wait a couple hours.
Note: The limits inside our app are different from Instagram's official app. This means even if your Instagram app is working fine followmeter might still be limited.

[FIXED] Inaccurate unfollower information.
This issue has been fixed on Android. Please download the latest version.
Clear all the inaccurate lists and restart the app then refresh. If the lists are still inaccurate please delete the app and reinstall the latest version.
The problem occurs when the data is being refreshed and the data is not properly synced. We are working to fix this issue and should have an update out very soon for iOS.

Why does it take so long to refresh?
Followmeter has to scan thousands of data points to show you accurate analytics.
Depending on how large your account is the scanning might take from a few seconds to a few minutes.

My unfollower count went down. But the unfollower tab did not update! Why?
When a user deactivates their account they aren't considred an "unfollower". Check your "activity feed" to see if they show up there. Also sometimes the "follower list" and "follower number" on Instagram is not accurate.

Why does it say my account is too large?
Congrats on having a huge account! Unfortunately some features are only available for smaller accounts due to technical limitations. If you have a large account (15,000+ Followers) we recommend you use the analytics Instagram provides to business accounts. You can access Instagram Analytics by converting your profile to a business account.

How do I log into an account which I have linked on Instagram with a shared password?
Go to the settings page, and tap 'Add another account'. Enter the account username and ORIGINAL password used when you set up the account.
Shared passwords are currently not supported by followmeter. The ORIGINAL password will still work to log in to the second account.
If you don't remember your original password, you can reset it on the Instagram app or website.

Why is my follow & unfollow action restricted?
Your account has been temporarily limited by INSTAGRAM. This limit is not set by us. This means Instagram has flagged your account for overusing the follow & unfollow action.
1. Make sure your account is not logged into any 3rd party apps that automate "follows & unfollows". You can try changing your password. This will log you out of all 3rd party apps including ours. You will need to re-login into followmeter.
2. This limit can last for a couple days. Make sure to not overuse other features including liking too many posts or comments during this time. Simply use your account normally until the ban is lifted.
3. Once the ban is lifted do not follow or unfollow too many people at once. Start out at 10 people a day for a week. Never follow/unfollow more than 200 people a day after that, even in the official app.
TRY THIS:
1. Open browser on your phone and go to www.instagram.com and login.
2. Once you are logged in try unfollowing someone.
3. If you are able to successfully unfollow someone on www.instagram.com open followmeter and see if you can now unfollow from our app.
-
Why is there a follow/unfollow limit?
To help reduce spam, we do not recommend anyone to follow/unfollow more than 100-200 people a day. We recommend that you follow/unfollow less than 20 users an hour, and a maximum of 100 users in a day. If you follow/unfollow too many people Instagram might block your account.
